Ocean Gaia is Japan's first underwater sculpture to combine art and ecology.

Sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor unveiled his latest underwater artwork off the coast of Tokunoshima Island. Weighing over 45 tonnes, the sculpture depicts the serene face of model Kiko Mizuhara and serves as a shelter for marine life.
