I don't like how different channels have different score bugs. Fine, put your logo on it but can't we have it in the same location on the screen? And a universal set up for the details? Stop trying to reinvent it.

Just occurred to me: Way back in the day, kids doctors had Highlights magazine in the waiting room. In them was a cartoon that said "what's wrong with this picture?" And there was a clock with one hand, etc. They were training us to recognize AI slop 50+ years ago!! 🤯

Watched 'The Menu' last night. One of those movies you can't really talk about without giving things away. I'll be thinking about this one for a while.

I quite like Steph Ango's system of rating 1 to 7 so I'm adopting it. It is more granular than 1 to 5 and 1 to 10 is too many.

  • 7 — Perfect, must try, life-changing, go out of your way to seek this out
  • 6 — Excellent, worth repeating
  • 5 — Good, don’t go out of your way, but enjoyable
  • 4 — Passable, works in a pinch
  • 3 — Bad, don’t do this if you can
  • 2 — Atrocious, actively avoid, repulsive
  • 1 — Evil, life-changing in a bad way
