Opening a New Private Window in Vivaldi

*** For desktop see https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/privacy/private-windows/

  • Go to the Vivaldi menu button Vivaldi menu (Windows and Linux) > File > New Private Window;
    OR
  • Type ‘New Private Window‘ in Quick Commands;
    OR
  • Use the Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl Shift N / ⌘ Shift N;
    OR
  • Create a new Mouse Gesture for opening a new private window.

  • Open the Vivaldi menu button Vivaldi menu on the right side of the Address Bar;
  • Select New Private Tab.
    OR
  • Open the Tab Switcher;
  • Slide to Private Tabs;
    OR
  • Tap on the + button in the middle of the bottom toolbar
  • In the Tab Switcher, tap on the overflow menu on the right side of the bottom toolbar.
  • Tap New Private Tab.

  • Open the Vivaldi menu button Vivaldi menu on the right side of the Address Bar.
  • Select New Private Tab.

  • Open the Tab Switcher.
  • Slide to Private Tabs.
  • Tap on the + button in the middle of the bottom toolbar.

  • -While viewing a web page or the Speed Dial, long-press on the Tab Switcher button until a context menu opens.
  • Select Open in Private.
