My main use of Omnivore was to subscribe to newsletters and then easily save their highlights to #Obsidian. So, that's a whole workflow I need to figure out. If anyone is down that path, let me know what you're using in place.

  • reaty on 🐘 : @techlifeweb I mostly used it to save articles to Obsidian, so now I switched to Obsidian clipper. Unfortunately it means that I had to switch to Firefox browser on mobile, instead of my favorite Opera, because mobile Opera don't support extensions. I didn't figure out yet what to do with newsletters subscriptions, though.
  • Scott Kingery on 🐘 : @reaty I'm thinking of subscribing in Gmail and using the web clipper for highlights that I make. I hadn't really played around with the web clipper much until the other day and it looks very useful. Haven't tied it in mobil though.
  • Lou Plummer :prami: on 🌐 : @techlifeweb Obsidian has an extension called RSS Copyist that I use to import RSS feeds. It will also import highlights from Raindrop.io. Either of those might be hackable for what you want.
