I started using Zettel notes (Android) a few weeks ago for this very purpose. Be careful. During my testing I added my whole vault to Zettel and it worked well. Then I deleted the Zettel repository and it really messed things up and deleted my Obsidian notes. User error for sure but it's worth noting. I'm still using Zettel but pointed at its own folder within my vault. This keeps things more separate in case of disaster but gives Obsidian access to all my Zettel notes. Lessons learned. Thank goodness for backups!
