I was browsing with Brave browsser and it happend to load Brave.com to show me about new features. I noticed it blocked 2 trackers. What's up with that, Brave? Are you just trying to prove it works?? #privacy #infosec

@techlifeweb You probably know this, but trackers aren’t always nefarious. They may allow internal operations to work more efficiently.

@MoiraEve You're not wrong. I guess I was just surprised there were trackers of any kind on their site. You bring up a good point, how do consumers get the choices right? You either block all or none or trust browser settings to get the mix right.

@MoiraEve @techlifeweb Also depending on your settings, it may include it as trackers. in it's filter (programming).Lowering your settings should fix it, or modifying the list of trackers, it's supposed to flag.In Firefox there are 3 levels of security, which do different things.
