I love the idea of embracing the tendency to switch tools as a feature, rather than something to be avoided. There be no shame in app-switching, my friends. If you enjoy it and it’s not a covert procrastination technique you engage in weekly, please do embrace the delight that comes with using a new tool. I would say every 6 months or so would be reasonable.

The seven principles include points about backing up both digital and paper information, online-only tools, and a warning about Gmail.
