Oh the irony… someone has created a content farm with information so generic that those interested in the topic will be turned off immediately.
I've seen content farms before but this is the first time I've come across one with a plain text theme. Who knew that my niche interest would garner that kind of popularity! I should be happy, I guess? But the truth is I'm sad to see this topic tainted by slop-producing money-grabbers.
In this post I put out a call for real people (like you!) to keep doing the human thing in the way we do it best. Like helping others the way Johnny Decimal helped me, without thought of fame or reward. Let's bring back blogrolls and webrings!
I'm also looking for more examples of plain text advocates to add to my list:
To qualify, they must be the flavour of plain text advocate that does not rely on Emacs.
